Hepco & Becker are the leading manufacturers in Germany for motorcycle luggage and engine/bodywork protection systems. Renowed for their quality they have established an enviable worldwide reputation. There is a choice of systems for almost every BMW from 1970 up to the latest R1200GS. There is a luggage system available to suit every owner. By providing a large combination of pannier and top box frames almost every pannier set, from the elegant "journey" system to the desert bashing aluminium "Expeditions" system can be fitted to almost every BMW. All dimensions quoted are external ones and sizes are per pannier/top box. Please note that a top case can be fitted without panniers to most models, but please check the required mountings first.
All luggage systems are provided with strong lockable mounts that are truly quick detachable (QD). All panniers are supplied with locks, keys and badges. In terms of construction and ease of use we believe the quality of Hepco and Becker to be superior to BMW`s own luggage manufacturers. Inner bags are available for most pannier/top boxes.
Due to the single left hand silencer on the R850/1100R & GS series there is a small offset when fitting panniers of identical size. However, this soon looks natural and is a preferable option to having a case just large enough for your lunch box! On all pannier systems for these models the left pannier can be chosen to be smaller than the right one.
